Every website is reachable from the start — and you can connect your own domain at any time.

Platform address: name.havic.ch

As soon as a website is live, it automatically gets an address of the form name.havic.ch. The TLS certificate is issued automatically and on demand — there’s nothing to set up.
The platform address is perfect for a first preview or a staging version before you connect a custom domain.

Connect your own domain

Havic sets up the required DNS records automatically (write-through via the DNS provider). Your domain then points to your website and the certificate is issued automatically.
1

Add the domain to the website

Open the website and add your domain under Domains (e.g. example.ch).
2

DNS is configured

Havic creates the required DNS records. If another provider manages your domain, Havic shows you the values to enter.
3

Connection & certificate

Once the DNS records are active, Havic connects the domain and issues a TLS certificate automatically. The Betriebsstatus (operating status) changes to Aktiv (Active).
